Doug is the founder and Chairman of Monon Capital, our family office. We engage with partners around ideas and opportunities for innovation and imaginative/redemptive entrepreneurship through venture investments, a thought & conversation studio, and a venture lab. In addition, he is a co-founder of the Indy Praxis Guild and Fields Park Trust.

Prior to launching Monon Capital, he was a founding executive of Hillenbrand, Inc. Prior to that he had been a senior executive at Boston Scientific, Guidant, Ronald Blue Trust, and Eli Lilly.

Doug serves as a director | trustee of EDGE Mentoring, Telemachus, the International Arts Movement, the Sagamore Institute, and The Trinity Forum. He is a member of the Advisory Boards of Discovering Broadway, Sinapis, and Tuskegee University. He also serves on the board of several businesses, including Lost Valley Ranch, a premier hospitality experience in Colorado.

He and Jayne Ann have two married daughters and three grandsons. They live in Carmel, Indiana where they met while growing up. They have been best friends for over 50 years.
