Adam has a rich background of leading new business launches and advising frontier-market startups. Most recently, Adam spearheaded the launch of the battery energy storage development team at Hexagon Energy. He manages early to mid-stage development of both utility-scale and distributed generation standalone energy storage projects across the US. Prior to joining Hexagon Adam served as a Principal at Rookwood Partners, where he launched a new acquisition and investment fund for distressed real estate across the mid-Atlantic, built a proprietary deal origination process and led re-development efforts for mixed-use commercial real estate projects. In 2015, Adam founded the advisory firm Kua Partners, focused on serving small and medium enterprises in South Africa, North Africa and the Middle East to help them grow revenue, profitability, and impact. Adam has an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with honors, and a B.S., Summa cum laude, in Management from the US Coast Guard Academy where he earned the Awarded Donald L. Prince Award for Management. Adam is a Certified Government Financial Manager.
