Preparation is in full swing for our annual Graduation and Business Plan Competition in Nairobi! This year 250 students completed the 4-month Sinapis Academy course! On Saturday, July 22nd, we will honor these graduates for all their hard work and celebrate the impact they are already beginning to see.Later that day, we will also host our annual Business Plan Competition, where one entrepreneur will walk away with $10,000 in grant capital. This year we received a Sinapis record of over 60 business plans submitted, and from that group we selected 14 semifinalists. These entrepreneurs worked closely with our staff to refine their business plans and pitch to an internal team of judges. Of the 14 semifinalists, 5 were selected to move forward into the finals. The competition is a wonderful opportunity not just to see who will win the prize money, but also to see the passion and ideas of some of the entrepreneurs working hardest to scale kingdom businesses.Our Business Plan Competition finalists are:
