THE SINAPIS IMPACT ON CHURCHES AND CULTURE

July 17, 2017

Islam is said to be 'a way of life' but Pastor Munene from Sinapis' partner church in Mombasa, International Christian Centre, says Christians aren't integrating their life with their faith nearly as well as the Islamic community - particularly in the marketplace. He felt so strongly about this that he personally attended all 16 weeks of the Sinapis course with his congregation and started integrating the teaching into his preaching."Where we live in the city of Mombasa, you can feel the impact of Islam in the businesses. In fact, they say that Islam is a way of life. So, you meet business people from the Islamic faith that live out and practice their faith in their business. But you don't feel that among the business community with Christians....and it's that one area where we haven't been a witness."
